Tactical Map
-You can bind this to any key and it brings up a large map on the screen that shows each of the objective icons, all friendlies, and a short trail that follows their exact movements. This is pretty helpful as you can quickly find out where everyone else is on the map, and quickly see the status of any of the objectives.
Push-to-talk
-Make sure you bind this to something easy to access because good communication helps make a good team. Just be weary of using this in proximity of enemies as they can hear you if they are close enough.
Walk
-There is a walk key that can be toggled, and I feel like an idiot for not seeing this earlier. By default it is bound to alt. This allows you to walk in the standing position (something like in Counter Strike) completely silent.
Sprint-Slide
-You can perform a slide while sprinting by pressing ctrl. I find this to be a slightly cumbersome bind. You can bind this to a mouse button, an easier to reach key, or whatever your preference may be. Just type "bind "key" +duck" into the command console with no quotation marks. (Enable console by going to gameplay settings)
Steady scope
-This is an easy enough key to reach (shift) while shooting from an uncovered or standing position, but it is much harder to do when you are crouched and leaning. This is another key I find useful to bind to a secondary key. This is basically the same as before "bind "key" +run"
Smokes
-Are useful for both pushing and retreat if necessary. Pop a smoke and dive into it; when you are going through you will find that you have decent visibility compared to those outside your smoke, use this to your advantage.
Flashbangs
-Are extremely effective when you need to push quickly or just clean a room with multiple targets. Make sure not to hold them to long because I think they blow up in your hand after a short while. Also unlike the other nades these things don't seem to want to bounce the same, so practice with that throwing arm and place it where you want it.
Frags
- Have a fairly large lethal radius and are great for clearing out enemies behind cover you can't reach. They also work for destroying the weapon cache in Search and Destroy, but it takes two of them (thanks /u/Dankermuff [1] ). In order to carry 2 frags at a time you must have the chest carrier equipped.
C4
- Is extremely deadly to anyone in proximity to it, but it great for destroying the objectives. Also it can be placed in a choke point, somewhere you know enemies will be coming from.
Snipers
- you are a valuable asset to your team for the initial push, but you also need to move up as your team does to provide proper cover. Otherwise you wind up the last guy alive in the back of the map, and at this point with your loadout chances are you will just die.
Bombers/Demolition
- Your duty is to destroy the weapon cache so equip c4. Don't just rush for an objective; stick with your team as they push up (let them know you can destroy it).
"C"
- C, Can be quickly clicked when hovering over an objective on the floating HUD to announce you are headed there, and holding C brings up a commo rose. C can also be used to spot enemies and mark where you saw them on the floating HUD (the spot mark does not follow the enemy, which is a nice touch). To bring your floating HUD back if it is gone use the / key.
